The Adidas NMD R1 Triple Red & Black came out a few months ago and due to popular demand, Adidas decided to bring it back again. The collection made its way to most retailers and was able via FTL, Footaction, Champs, Finishline and more. I was fortunate enough to pick up a few pairs today in my local mall; my initial reaction was- this is a pretty cool pack but my gripe with it is the price point. The shoes do not feature a Primeknit construction so I’m unsure why its retail price was bumped up. The original mesh constructed NMD R1 were priced at $120; I’ll keep reiterating the fact that the NB247 is probably a better substitute: find out why via The NMD got a challenger.
Nonetheless the Adidas NMD R1 Triple Red & Black is a dope collection; I like the black colorway better because it reminds me of my favorite Mortal Kombat character “Noob Saibot”; it’s also an easier colorway to wear with different outfits. Look at my thorough close up video of the shoes below
The shoes are pretty much sold out in most online stores so I suggest you check your local malls and most precisely most DTLR locations because they got their inventory in today ( and most folks aren’t aware of it).
