One of my peers stopped by the office yesterday heated. His question was, “Why aren’t the fees matching up on everything I’m selling on StockX?” He had reached the 6% level just as I had for the quarter ending with September. We sat down and went through the numbers and realized that as long as what we were selling, sold below $150.00 dollars, the 6% really doesn’t have any bearing on our accounts.
6% fees will only apply to sneakers sold above 150 bucks. His question was why? StockX has a minimum transaction rate of 9 dollars on the sneaker category:

This has always been the case, so there isn’t anything sneaky taking place. A lot of people are simply not aware of the 9 dollar minimum. As StockX says in their marketing, now you know. I hope this clarifies the topic and helps.
