Okay, the longest distance I’ve run at one time is 7 miles. It took me 50 minutes. In other words, I would have take around 3-4 hours to finish a marathon… so I have no place at all in making light of a shoe named for a Sub Two Hour Marathon coming at at 2:03. Especially when that time is the fastest time ever run on Japanese soil.

adidas launched its adizero sub 2 Marathon Shoe with Wilson Kipsang and he rode the sub2 to a first place finish. Since this is a sneaker site, I’m sure the question is who came in second and what did they wear?

Gideon Kipketer (Kenya) – 2:05:51  endorsed by Nike was in second place (insert adidas beats Nike again joke here).

On the women’s side first place went to Sarah Chepchirchir (Kenya) – 2:19:47 endorsed by Nike, and second went to Birhane Dibaba (Ethiopia) – 2:21:19, also Nike.
