High-shine patent leather puts a new twist on the GEL-LYTE® III model, making it a prime pick for dressed-up or casual looks. The birch-colored upper pairs with tonal laces and an all-white midsole for that desirable clean finish that matches the men’s version.
The Gel Lyte III has entered Jordan 11 territory and to me it’s not a good thing. I know it’s prom season and that kids rocking sneakers with suits is actually a thing, but this is a reach at best.
Patent leather is very hard to pull off and the Gel Lyte III is always best suited with layers of suede and fabric. When you drop a shoe and use patent leather you immediately get the reference to the 11 as I did above, but I will admit that the birch color isn’t bad, but I can’t see this shoe actually selling at retail even if it’s prom time.
