After releasing the War Report Rogue with ‘90s rap duo Capone-N-Noreaga, Ewing Athletics is once again answering the demands of our vocal fans. The brand has reintroduced two of its flagship shoes, both OG Ewing 33 HIs, as a push back against all those who said big men like Patrick Ewing couldn’t sell shoes.
Gone are the doubters from 1989 and the haters from 2012. Today, Ewing Athletics is just as strong as its namesake.
For July, Ewing Athletics has brought back the Ewing 33 HI ‘White/Royal’ and the Ewing 33 HI ‘Orange Suede’ – and both are bold high tops built to support a big man. The ‘White Royal’ was originally created at the inception of the Ewing Athletics brand in 1989 (the next year, Patrick scored his career high 51 points at MSG and the Ewing Athletics brand did over $100 million in sales). The ‘Orange Suede’ 33 HI was one of the first styles to return when the company re-entered the sneaker market in 2012. A celebration of the orange and blue colors Knicks fans bleed, it is outfitted with a premium perforated suede upper and rides atop a full-length PU midsole.
Pricing: Both July releases are available now at EwingAthletics.com in sizes 5-16 for $120 each
