The Air Jordan XXXI was supposed to be a combination of the Air Jordan 1 and the latest numbered model from Jordan Brand. Because the brand utilized an early form of knit/woven construction the shoe lacked panels and shape. The brand forced the shape of the heel patterns through increased knit in areas and they had an embroidered Swoosh that extended from an oversized Jumpman on the lateral side of the shoe and the Jordan Wings logo on the medial side at the heel.
If the Curry 2 was flamed as a dad shoe, this shoe wasn’t too far behind although some of the details on the shoe weren’t bad at all. It was a boring drop from JB.
