I eventually thought I should revise the Status, but in the end the shoe was never released because my Jordan influences were too evident. I felt that if I made a new shoe it should have its own identity so I scrapped it. My next project was the first shoe that I put into production and it was pretty successful. I made a run of 400 pair. The shoe was named after my daughter’s nickname: Tori. The Tori was a stylish, casual shoe that featured suede and leather with a strap and a cupped sole. The shoe sold for between 50-80 dollars based on where I was selling it. It was listed for retail at 99.00 on the label. I still see these walking around every now and then which is very cool. Here are the pics of the shoe.
