I’m always one to celebrate a brand when they are taking the time and effort to work on improving the lives of the next generation. Over the years New Balance has “donated over 5 Million dollars to the West End House Boys & Girls Club.” That amount of money shows that the brand understands the need for corporations to support the community they are in. The Boston Celtics took the time to work with New Balance to completely renovate the gym at the WHE:
The Boston Celtics and New Balance today unveiled a newly renovated gymnasium to the members of the West End House Boys & Girls Club in Allston, MA. The renovation project, highlighted by a completely new hardwood playing surface, marks the first gym remodel collaboration between the two partners as they strive to make an immediate impact in their newly shared back yard.
During the reopening Coach Brad Stevens hosted a hoops workshop before sitting with a VIP panel including Kassia Davis of New Balance. Use the source link above to read more. Kudos to NB.
