This LIMITED EDITION colorway was a special project that was created in collaboration with Girls For A Change, a nonprofit organization that empowers Black girls and other girls of color to visualize their bright futures and potential through discovery, development, innovation, and social change in their communities.
In this special project, The Thomas Jefferson High School Girl Action Team explored how the fashion industry affects climate change with Tanita Gray of Last Report. After learning about sustainable shoe design and meeting other designers and fashionistas, they began working on creating their own color way for our popular Traction 2.0. The students were divided into teams, and the winning color was chosen by a community poll and is now rolling into production!
For every pair sold, COMUNITYmade will be making a donation to the Girls For A Change organization to help fund future programming.
