A few months ago I caught on to 9th Wonder lecturing at Harvard and creating what amounts to a history of Hip-Hop to be catalogued.

Now here is another project with similar merit from Bill Adler of Def Jam. This is a collection of dope ass pictures from his catalogue documenting the rise of Def Jam during the golden age of Hip-Hop.

Now it’s not that Hip-Hop needs to be given credibility by gaining recognition from elite/Ivy league academic institutions, but there is a certain amount of satisfaction that people understand how important this culture is to Americana.
