When I hear Mitchell & Ness I immediately think hats and jerseys. I’m sure everyone else is the same. To be honest I never really looked into the history of the company and I didn’t know why or how it was started. I typically pride myself on knowing the history of brands, but I have to admit, I simply thought of M&N as the throwback kings.
I think of Clearweather very sparingly although I tried to use a 40% off coupon yesterday (March 14th, 2019) but there weren’t any size 13s for me in anything that had a discount. I’m also scared to order because I did a video once of Clearweather and the shoes ran incredible small.
I don’t own a pair of Clearweather kicks and I tried to pick up the Tariq Roots salmon kicks on the site, but no size 13 meant that I struck out. This time I have a pair that I just have to pick up, but I’m hoping the brand will show me some love for writing this post and bringing your attention to what I think is one of the dopest collabs I’ve seen.
This Vintage White tennis shoe collab is the illest sneaker I’ve seen. I mean look at the details. I don’t even play tennis and I’m sure no one would play in these today, but with my white chinos and button down I’m going to be the flyest dude at the bar-b-que in this pair. The black pair isn’t as fly to me because the details are lost in the darkness… but the Vintage white!!!!

Drawing inpsiration from the company’s heritage, originally Mitchell & Ness specialized in stringing tennis rackets. The company constructed custom made golf clubs and made uniforms for local football and baseball teams. When I think Philly I don’t think of M&N, but from now on, with this collab that changes immediately. This is an excellent pair from Clearweather and definitely ups the ante for my desire to grab a pair.
