I had the chance last week to sit down with David Seeney of Melio. At one point I worked with David when he ran the site Sneaker Theater. As I dissolved the sneaker network and began focusing more on analysis and discussion on the arch-usa, we lost contact. I didn’t know he had the desire to launch his own brand. He recently reached out to ask a lot of questions and I realized that he was asking questions that might benefit other people.

I told him we could do an Insider Ties and he could ask as many questions as he needed before my phone started ringing. This video is almost an hour long, but we got into a lot of questions about starting a footwear company on a budget. By the end of the video I realized that his desire to build a brand, falls in line with the fact that he will have to generate content to drive traffic to his site. We decided that it would be best to put the interview on his website and I could share it with my audience.
