I got a chance to sit down and Zoom rap with the founder of RFCC (Rough Feathers Clothing Company). RFCC is based in Memphis and Antonio Jones is not just the founder, he is also the designer, warehouse team and website designer. He works full time as a graphic designer, but the time he places into RFCC is more than his actual job. As a black-owned company he has faced difficulty in acquiring funding and has even faced the problem of getting those who like streetwear and fashion to give his product a shot. We dive into a variety of topics and he shows a lot of the apparel he has available on his website right now. I have a number of shirts from the brand and I support the business, not because it’s black owned, but because the designs are dope and I respect the work ethic.
