In continuing the trend towards modern retro New Balance took the classic 574 and re-engineered the shoe and it looks great. Gone are the traditional toebox and medial nubuck/suede panels enter a lightweight seamless construction blended with a welded construction near the collar. The heel counter retains the classic element bonding the old with the new. It’s a welcomed update to the shoe that has been launched in a thousand colors, but is still a relevant and consistent drop from the NB crew.
The 574 has been tinkered with before, but the materials were not as lightweight and streamlined as this model. You can grab a pair of those here.
