The Kyrie 5 arrived much sooner than it did the last two years. The typical Christmas release arrived with two incredible videos the last two years and some incredible imagery with virtuoso performances by Kyrie with Questlove of the Roots in one and with Kyrie in the hustle and bustle of life in another. The 5 comes after Kyrie was injured in the 4 and the Swoosh took a lot of time in keeping a similar style, but truly upgrading the shoe with a new Flywire lockdown lacing system and a a new Zoom Turbo forefoot air bag. The shoe of course features all of the small style cues and Kyrie’s protective Hamsa tattoo.
