When I say NOBULL your first thought is?
Probably not a sneaker company. Most people aren’t aware of the brand at all. As a digital first company, they were born from a direct to consumer concept that said, “Reebok ain’t it for Crossfit”. The imagery around the company looks like it could be from an epic show about warriors. I wrote as much when I was discussing their Black Friday marketing video:

This time around the company isn’t settling for being your go to for fitness only. As many believe the sneaker trend is diminishing, NOBULL took their no frills approach and applied the design aesthetic to a dress shoe. The result is a gorgeous fashion sneaker with rich tones and an obvious nod to the Cole Haan Lunargrand series… a shoe I know too well with over 10 pair in every shade. When I was an educator I wore the shoes often. I don’t wear them so much anymore and they are basically sitting in my closet collecting dust. Everything I wear, even on date night tends to be a sneaker. This may sound like it doesn’t bode well for NOBULL, but right now may be the smartest moment to crossover into dress casual.
As the COVID-19 crisis has impacted all aspects of industry, furloughs and layoffs are becoming the norm. This means that a host of applicants are entering the job market and when our new normal begins, those people will undoubtedly be interviewing. The DRESS SHOE, I mean what did you expect from NOBULL, a name like Perforated Wingtip Lux? Comes in three colors in both men’s and women’s sizing. My favorite color is the Brown Leather Dress Shoe:

I know that the cost may be a bit prohibitive as we exit weeks without paychecks, but my advice is to pick up a pair of shoes that are versatile. Spend a bit more now for a shoe that is constructed for rope climbs and box jumps as well as walking blocks because you couldn’t pay for the parking downtown.
Oh, and that crepe sole… butter.
