While Drake may sell more records, brands need more authentic influencers who speak truth to power and stand for something. Stalley had a major label deal but turned indie to release his latest project. In doing so he’s able to actually speak with a deeper passion for his faith and for his conscious. The result is Hip-Hop with an early 90s flavor and it’s dope. Oh, and peep the “Hey Ms. Parker” allusion.
