I usually make TSR about a company that I just discovered like Bloom Foam. The goal of the series is to introduce people like me, who don’t often speak about sustainability or eco-friendly products to consider buying smarter and better products.
This episode is about an established brand in VF Corp’s “The North Face”. I had to make a few trips in the past month and I needed a better carry-on bag. I didn’t want to just go and grab something quick and easy. I knew I needed a bag that was made with purpose. I began looking online and everything I wanted to order I couldn’t get shipped fast enough and I didn’t want to default to Amazon. I decided on visiting a local retail outlet to find a recycled product and I discovered the Berkeley Duffel by North Face. I’ve used it several times in the last month and when paired with my Outerknown Jacket made of recycled fish nets, I’d say I’ve done an okay job and buying better more responsible products.
No links to the product as this is not an advertisement, just a quick look at the bag.
