Park Authority – the ability to enforce compliance upon a public area of land in a largely natural state.

I hate it when I spend too much time away from something because I simply forgot about it. In the case of k1x I have written an article on the Germany based brand since All Star Weekend. It’s not that they haven’t been creating dope ish, it’s because the bigger brands sit in my rotation and they constantly produce information so I end up visiting those sites more often. I forget about the hustlers who have to grind to capture the attention of the media… so this is my apology and an introduction to the Fall/Winter lineup from k1x: The Park Authority Line

It’s finally getting cold in Memphis and the automatic response is to go straight to Timbs. I’ve discussed a number of drops from various brands in the sneaker boot space, but k1x is taking the game serious by creating a sub-label with PA. The Park Authority line features 5 styles all pictured.

My favorite look from the collection is probably obvious. If not it’s below. The State Sport Black/Gum is definitely right up my alley. It’s a lot more sporty and athletic and the “nation of hoop” inscription at the heel with the embossed maple leaf and premium nubuck leather upper is nice.

What is always exciting about k1x is their ability to price their footwear correctly and to create interesting material choices and colors for their releases. While k1x isn’t really available in Memphis anymore and isn’t widely distributed it’s important that brands like the “nation of hoop” are discussed and given a platform. Think about it like this when a point guard is pushing the ball down the floor is it better to have 1 guy filling the lane or is it better to have two wings filling the lanes with a secondary trailing player if the fast break getting cut off? Options people, k1x gives us options. I mean if you’re on your grown man, what better winter sneaker boot to cop than this one:
