When I admire a brand I share their work. When it’s a brand that has a hard time cracking mainstream sneaker media, I really try to share the work. York has been featured on the site before and I’m sharing this from their blog. Why? Because dammit, they are taking the time to blog and I think this is one of the most important things to do when you’re obscure and a lot of people don’t check for you like they do the Big Three.
I’m especially excited to share when the blog is about discipline and training your mental. Since I shut down the ARCH Footwear side of my business and began focusing on the site to help build smarter sneaker lovers, I’ve had to overcome the frustration and depression of what I saw as giving up. After reading this discussion with Sensei Mesquita it reminded me of what I know. I accomplished something amazing and although it didn’t succeed I learned so much that I can now help others and that’s what it’s all about. Click through to the York site and read through the interview.
