Instead of spending time delivering my own thoughts about Clae’s latest collection, I’ll share the information directly from the team:

We are all aware of the plastic pollution in the oceans. And we are so proud to continue our partnership with SEAQUAL INITIATIVE™. This unique community composed of individuals, local organizations, and companies are collaborating to help clean our oceans from plastic waste. From these collected marine plastic waste, SEAQUAL INITIATIVE™ develops a lightweight and breathable yarn, used to craft our Bradley Knit each season.

Thanks to up-cycling, our iconic Bradley range is built with a revolutionary innovative alternative material: a synthetic textile made from marine plastic waste collected by fishermen and local associations. For each pound of fiber produced, a pound of plastic waste is removed from the ocean.

Our product development is driven by the re-use of post-consumer materials, and the recycling of trash. The upcycled materials we use do not make any compromise in terms of quality or durability, representing a positive new standard to develop even further.
