On First Glance, What Brand Made the NatureX?

I’ve intentionally left off the link for this new sneaker in the header. On Running has shifted from specialty stores and running to mainstream sneaker retail. The move has had mixed reactions with customers used to seeing only Nike and adidas on the wall.  Overlooking the surprisingly successful On Running trainers, is expected, but what I didn’t expect was to see a shoe offer the greatest form of flattery. This new sneaker looks a lot like On Running’s attempts at creating a more casual, lifestyle sneaker, but it’s not from On.

The Clarks NatureX is another foray by the crepe sole dominated into more traditional footwear. Clarks showed up on my top sneakers this year with their Tor Run, but that model had the expected material for a Clarks designed sneaker. The NatureX lands right in the pocket of On Running and should capture the eye of dads just as much as On Running has become a go to for many men who don’t run but enjoy the look and feel of the bouncy On Running footwear.
