The Plantisserie – Plant-based Organic Deli & Market

I’ve contemplated being vegan on many occasions. I’ve settled on a dual lifestyle. At home we only eat fish and vegan proteins. When we go out, we eat, eat, lol. This has worked very well for the entire family. When we go out of town we attempt to ease our way into the food of the city we’re visiting. One of the methods of doing this is by keeping our home vegan policy in play on the first couple of days. This is difficult to do in Miami where there are so many fantastic restaurants.

The one place we would highly recommend is the Plantisserie. The Miami eatery is tucked away in what looks like an old mechanics parking lot, but what’s in there will make a Corvette run at top speed. All of the food is prepared, “As nature provides it. Maintaining its natural virtues and nutrients, free of refinements and genetic treatments, respecting in this way the intelligence of Mother Nature. All our ingredients are Organics.” That’s website copy and it doesn’t do the food justice. We had Shephard’s Pie, Enchilada and Russian Salad. The food was filling and capable of standing up against almost any of the places we visited while enjoying Miami. Here are the pictures.
