Filling Pieces made a concentrated effort to create a classic basketball silhouette from the 90s although the brand wasn’t around at the time. They created a chunky soled premium leather version of a basketball shoe that if it was on a wall next to a classic Jordan it would definitely give a retro a run for its money although the heritage is clearly with Jordan Brand. The overlays on this shoe mesh perfectly and the hit of basketball colored leather along the lateral side just feels like it could have been on the court with Nike, Reebok and adidas in the early 90s. The heavy stitching around the midsole lets you know that this isn’t for balling, but it is for ballin (Damn that was corny).
