LC23 was born in December 2010 from the idea of Leo Colacicco, a Management Engineer with the vice of e-fashion, born and raised in Gioia del Colle (Bari), who, after a period of study and work spent in Milan, returns home and decides to create his own brand and an e-commerce site where he can sell his creations.
LC23 was born exclusively as a shirt brand, but in the future projects of Leo Colacicco there is the intention to extend the brand to other garments.

The collaboration has become an easy way for a brand to make waves in the sneaker industry. The problem for me is that the collab comes easy when brands work with Nike. Nike’s heritage is so strong that when people see a shoe designed around irony they are afraid to admit that a hangtag isn’t dope, it’s just a hangtag and deconstructing in many ways is the foundation of fashion. I find that reconstructing on brands that aren’t as popular is a more difficult task because the elements being used aren’t as familiar. When you have a bespoke shirt maker (I expected more from the Reebok x Huntsman) take a classic trainer the outcome could become gaudy. The result here in the N9000 is exquisite. This choice is all about the materials and is one of the few retros to make this list.
