Back to Back for adidas with a model that didn’t receive a large drop and rightfully so. I would assume this shoe doesn’t show up on any end of the year lists. To be honest its minimalist design on the upper is upset by possibly the boldest outsole delivered in 2018. The one peice wave of sticky gum rubber features knobby lugs and seems built for a game of futsal instead of fashion. However, adidas’ decision to deliver a shoe built on a classic adidas silhouette in a burgundy wine suede with a cork colored gum outsole is in my opinion one of the prettiest colorways in footwear. The shoe was never released in Memphis, but that’s to be expected. This is not an adidas town and the shoe would have undoubtedly sat. There isn’t any resale value here either (actually that’s not true as you will find below). The only thing that is here is one of the smoothest drops of the year for the person bold enough to pull the trigger.
